For this project, we launched Gantri’s customization interface, enabling customers to choose any color and variant option, enhancing creative freedom and personalization.

I led the redesign of Gantri’s customization experience, transforming it from a limited 3-5 color selection to a fully personalized system for both Trade professionals and consumers. This project required extensive cross-functional collaboration with teams across the company, including a complete refresh of how we approached our Product Detail Pages (PDP). We rethought the user experience to ensure it was engaging, intuitive, and visually compelling.
The Marketplace execution took two months, but the groundwork involved significant coordination cross functionally, restructuring our back-end system. I worked closely with our product team, and partnered with the industrial engineering and creative marketing teams to ensure a seamless launch.

For the customization feature, we started with thorough competitor analysis and an audit of our unique product attributes, focusing on variants and hardware options. After exploring several iterations with key stakeholders and conducting user testing, we debated between integrating customization into the main experience or creating a separate modal. Given the complexity of thousands of product combinations, we chose a standalone modal to make customization feel unique.
Throughout, we kept the needs of both Trade and direct-to-consumer customers in mind, ensuring the solution was intuitive, scalable, and beneficial for all user types.

From the outset, our goal was to keep the user experience simple, ensuring that the wide array of color and hardware options didn’t overwhelm customers. Scalability was key as well, as we planned to introduce even more options in the future. And finally, given that mobile traffic now accounts for over 75% of our user base, we designed this experience mobile-first, making sure the customization process remained seamless across devices.

I created a logo animation inspired by Gantri’s color wheel, using our primary brand colors to bring the customization process to life. Additionally, throughout the website experience, I added interactive elements that highlighted the customization journey—from product creation through to checkout.
